Job Overview
As Chief Accountant, you will manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. You’ll prepare financial statements, oversee VAT compliance, and provide management with accurate reporting and analysis to guide decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (AR, AP, GL, payroll, reconciliations)
- Manage project-based accounting and revenue recognition for consultancy contracts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and FTA requirements
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Coordinate external audits and regulatory reporting
- Implement and maintain financial controls and accounting policies
- Provide financial analysis, profitability tracking, and cost control support to management
- Lead and supervise the accounting team
