Role Purpose
The Accounts Manager will lead the day-to-day accounting operations of Al Manaar and its subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
The role is structured as a high-potential leadership track, where the candidate will progressively assume broader financial responsibilities with a clear pathway toward Financial Manager position based on performance and organizational needs.

- β Key Responsibilities
- β 1. Core Accounting Operations
- β Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
- β Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual closing timely
- β Maintain accuracy of financial records across entities
- β Supervise accounting staff and workflows
- β Direct interactions with accounting team within subsidiaries as needed.
- β 2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- β Prepare monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- β Support consolidation across Al Manaar subsidiaries
- β Analyze variances vs budget and prior periods
- β Provide actionable insights to management
- β 3.Compliance & Governance
- β Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia
- β Coordinate with auditors (internal & external)
- β Maintain strong internal controls and financial policies
- β Support board-level reporting requirements
- β 4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- β Monitor cash flow positions and liquidity across entities
- β Track receivables, payables, and inventory impact on working capital
- β Support forecasting accuracy and variance tracking
- β 5. Systems & Process Improvement
- β Improve accounting systems, reporting tools, and automation
- β Standardize financial processes across subsidiaries
- β Support implementation of ERP or reporting dashboards
- β 6. Strategic & Leadership Exposure (Development Track)
- β Support budgeting and financial planning cycles
- β Participate in investment evaluations and business cases
- β Assist in banking relationships and financing structures
- β Gradually take ownership of finance-related decision support
- β Future Role Progression (Indicative)
- β Subject to performance and business needs, the role may evolve into Financial Manager with full ownership of finance function, strategic planning, banking relationships, and board-level leadership.
- β Qualifications & Experience
- β Bachelorβs degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
- β 8 β12 years of relevant experience
- β Experience in multi-entity or group structure preferred
- β Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards
- β Experience in Saudi Arabia (preferred)
- β Certifications (Preferred)
- β CPA / ACCA / CMA or equivalent
- β Additional certifications are a plus
