Role Overview

As a Drilling Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily drilling operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with engineering plans. You’ll coordinate with rig crews, contractors, and engineers to deliver wells on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise drilling activities on offshore/onshore rigs
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards and drilling programs
  • Monitor well progress and troubleshoot operational issues
  • Coordinate logistics, equipment, and personnel
  • Maintain accurate daily drilling reports and records
  • Liaise with subsurface teams and third-party service providers
  • Participate in pre-spud and post-well reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 8–10 years of drilling experience, including offshore exposure
  • Engineering degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or related field
  • Valid IWCF or Well Control certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Familiarity with directional drilling, HPHT wells, and rig equipment
  • UAE experience preferred but not mandatory
