🎯 Role Overview
As an Airport Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day terminal operations, ensuring safety and efficiency, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in maintaining service standards and responding to operational challenges in real time.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee terminal operations across DXB and/or DWC
- Manage passenger flow, gate assignments, and turnaround times
- Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, and security teams
- Respond to operational disruptions and emergencies
- Monitor KPIs including on-time performance, baggage handling, and customer satisfaction
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and tech upgrades
- Ensure compliance with GCAA, ICAO, and Dubai Airports protocols
📌 Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Business, or Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in airport or airline operations
- Strong leadership and crisis management skills
- Familiarity with AOCC systems, realtimeDXB, and airport safety protocols
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
- UAE work eligibility or willingness to relocate
